I'm sad to announce that today, our public TF2 server went offline. This is due to a lack of donations and dwindling player base over the past few weeks; as people go off to play other games, among other things.
I would like to say a huge thank you to the support of everyone who played on our server. We had over 100 regular VIPs, and in total over 100,000 unique visitors on the server. Our regulars - VIP or not - are what truly made our server unique. The community that played on our TF2 server and is now a part of our website/forums is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure to be a part of, so I'd like to personally extend a massive thanks to everyone for your continued support, dedication, and donations over the past 2 years. You guys truly are the best.
Our competitive TF2 team, [EV], will continue in it's current form - playing UGC and other Highlander tournaments, for as long as people have an interest in playing TF2 competitively. The team enjoyed great success in the latest UGC Highlander tournament - making our way to the play-offs and having some of the best comp. TF2 games I've played in a long time. I'd like to thank everyone that's been a part of [EV] in the past for your dedication and efforts, and be sure that [EV] will continue to play competitively as long as there are people there that can make the team.
