I had a feeling you'd mention the shared chassis cars out the in the market, but they're not like Founders Editions because they're not all identical.
They all have differences, different trim levels, air-con.
There are clear reasons why you might choose to buy the Toyota Aygo instead of the Renault blah-blah.

These are more like the traditional NVidia chipset offerings from MSI and ASUS and the likewhere, they're built using the same board but with different cooling and so on.

All very strange IMO.

I hope the true 3rd party cards are priced a bit closer to the recommended retail price.

RGB ...

The Strix GTX 1080 cards come equipped with Aura RGB lighting. The front shroud of the card includes six different LED lights, and the backplate includes an illuminated Strix logo. The lighting can be customized, and Asus offers six different lighting modes, including static color, breathing and music effect. You can even make it react to the GPU temperature.
